The validation infrastructure for AI agents

Spring 2026ActiveB2BDeveloper ToolsSaaSInfrastructureSan Francisco, CA, USA
We build environments to test your app and agents against the real world. Deploy your code/agent into a sandbox that runs against replicas of external services (Stripe, Slack, Google Drive, etc.). Twins support the same APIs, MCP tool calls & SDKs as the real software, and you can spin up thousands of instances in parallel and seed them using natural language. Run real workflows, surface edge cases, and observe how your code/agents actually behave before hitting production.

Note: This is a preliminary assessment based on limited publicly available information. We did not have access to LinkedIn profiles or live product screenshots for this analysis. We will update this entry with a more thorough review soon.

Verdict

High Signal
Market Opportunity
Developer tooling / AI agent validation is a rapidly growing B2B market — every engineering org deploying AI agents needs confidence in production behavior. ICP is clear: mid-to-large engineering teams using Grafana, Sentry, Jira, Slack stacks. Monetization path is standard SaaS per-seat or usage-based, well-trodden in dev tools.
Medium Signal
Founder Signal
Akira Tong has strong credentials — SDE at Stripe and quant at Goldman Sachs, graduated UBC at 19 after skipping high school, suggesting exceptional technical ability. Phillip Li was building internal dev tooling at Amazon with measurable impact (10+ recurring weeks/year of engineer hours saved), which is directly relevant to this product. Both are UBC dropouts/grads with real industry experience, though neither LinkedIn profile was available to verify depth of tenure or specific roles held.
Medium Signal
Competition
No competitor data was returned, but this space has real players: Codium/Cody, Launchable, Trunk, and general AI testing tools from established players like Datadog and Sentry expanding into testing. The full-stack replay with stateful mocks differentiator is meaningful but not obviously defensible long-term. Big players like GitHub (Copilot) and Datadog could encroach.
Low Signal
Product
No live demo, no pricing page, no named customer logos, no revenue or usage metrics cited. The description is technically detailed (sandboxes, stateful mocks, full-stack replay) suggesting real engineering depth, but no evidence of actual customers or production deployments. Website text alone with no social proof or traction data.
OverallB Tier

The technical vision is credible and the founders have genuine relevant experience — Stripe SDE plus Amazon internal tooling with measurable impact is a solid foundation for a dev tools company. The product description shows real engineering thinking around sandboxed replay and stateful mocks. However, there is zero evidence of traction: no customers, no revenue, no press, no testimonials, which is the most critical gap at this stage. The market is real and growing fast as AI agent deployments explode, but competition from well-funded incumbents expanding into testing is a serious concern. This is a promising technical team with an idea that fits the moment, but they need to show paying customers to become investable at the top tier.

Co-founder & CEO @ Arga Labs. Built an internal dev tool @ Amazon to automate complex engineering workflows, resulted in 10+ recurring weeks/year of engineer hours saved across multiple teams, and prevented VP escalations due to bug issues. Before that, I was a fencer on the Canadian Junior National Team and researched cognitive systems at UBC
