Liability insurance for AI Agents. You deploy agents, we cover you.

Spring 2026ActiveFintechInsuranceArtificial IntelligenceFintechComplianceInsuranceAISan Francisco, CA, USA
Klaimee is the first insurance for your AI agents. It covers what traditional E&O and cyber explicitly carve out, so you can deploy agentic AI at scale with real peace of mind. Built for companies deploying agentic AI, self-serve from day one. The problem: AI agents are taking actions autonomously buying, emailing, modifying sensitive data. AB 316 already holds deployers liable. EU AI Act enforces in August. Cyber and E&O insurance are excluding AI claims. Companies shipping agents have zero coverage and no third-party proof their agent is safe. Enterprise legal asks "who pays if your agent breaks something?" and there's no good answer. We built the answer. Critical-category risk evaluation, certification, financial guarantee, liability insurance and the documentation enterprise procurement needs to sign off. Team: Ines (ex-General Manager at SafetyWing, grew insurance product from $5M to $60M revenue, 5 years launching insurance products from scratch and structuring a TokioMarine MGA into its own carrier) + Julien (AI software engineer + corporate strategy, enterprise compliance). We understand how insurance works, what enterprises require, and why startups can't wait 6 months for either.

Note: This is a preliminary assessment based on limited publicly available information. We did not have access to LinkedIn profiles or live product screenshots for this analysis. We will update this entry with a more thorough review soon.

Verdict

High Signal
Market Opportunity
Excellent regulatory tailwind: AB 316 in California, EU AI Act enforcing August 2026, and major insurance carriers explicitly excluding AI claims creates a real, urgent coverage gap. ICP is clear — companies deploying agentic AI that face enterprise procurement questions. As AI agent deployment accelerates, TAM grows rapidly alongside it; B2B enterprise insurance is a multi-billion dollar market.
Medium Signal
Founder Signal
Ines has genuinely relevant experience as GM at SafetyWing (YC W18), reportedly growing an insurance product from $5M to $60M revenue and structuring an MGA into a carrier — that's real insurance operational depth if accurate. Julien's LinkedIn is unavailable, described as 'AI software engineer + corporate strategy, enterprise compliance' but no specific companies, years, or shipped products cited. One strong founder, one opaque co-founder.
Medium Signal
Competition
No direct competitor data found, which cuts both ways — could be genuinely first-mover or could be a sign the market isn't ready. Traditional E&O and cyber insurers are actively excluding AI, creating a gap. However, large specialty insurers (Munich Re, Lloyd's syndicates) and insurtech players will move into this space once it matures. Being an MGA or carrier fronting arrangement takes time and capital to set up properly.
Low Signal
Product
No live product visible, no pricing page, no named customers, no revenue metrics, no demo. Website description is essentially a landing page with 'Book a demo' energy. The product offering sounds coherent (risk evaluation, certification, financial guarantee, insurance) but zero evidence it's actually built or sold.
OverallB Tier

Strong concept with real regulatory urgency — the AI liability coverage gap is legitimate and growing fast, and Ines has directly relevant insurance infrastructure experience from SafetyWing. The core risk is execution: insurance products require carrier relationships, regulatory licenses, and capital backing that take time and money to establish, and there's zero evidence of a live product, paying customers, or even a named carrier partner. Julien's background is essentially unverifiable from the data provided, which is a concern for a CTO role. This is a compelling thesis with the right founder for the insurance side, but it's pre-product vaporware until they show a live policy being issued and a real customer paying for it.
