Salesgraph

the context layer for fast moving sales teams

Spring 2026ActiveB2BSalesSaaSB2BSalesSan Francisco, CA, USA
Salesgraph equips reps with the most relevant context throughout the deal stage, providing proactive pre-call notes and post-call next steps. Sellers are CEOs of their deals; they need to know who the buyer is, what triggered them to take the first call, what their pain points are, how much value this new tool is bringing, are there any technical blockers, etc. A sale is only good when it doesn't feel like a sale to your customer, but rather the sales rep solved a problem for the customer. This was the problem Ricardo and I solved at Mintlify. We created a business case generator that took in call recordings, background news triggers and job updates, Mintlify's ROI and Pricing calculator, past deals won, and customer case studies --> produced a 3 page document expressing the value Mintlify provided + why the quote presented is justifiable. In doing so we closed more enterprise deals at a higher ACV as our champion was able to build a better purchasing case internally. Our goal is to empower every sales team to close deals at a higher ACV, while making sure reps learn from their mistakes and create a smooth sales experience for their end customer.

Note: This is a preliminary assessment based on limited publicly available information. We did not have access to LinkedIn profiles or live product screenshots for this analysis. We will update this entry with a more thorough review soon.

Verdict

Medium Signal
Market Opportunity
B2B sales tooling is a large, well-established market with clear ICP (enterprise sales reps and AEs). The 'context layer' positioning — proactive pre-call briefs and post-call next steps — fits a real workflow pain. Monetization path is obvious (per-seat SaaS), but no TAM figures or specific revenue/usage data provided.
Medium Signal
Founder Signal
Ruhan Ponnada has real pedigree — Microsoft, Amazon, and Mintlify — covering both engineering and sales roles, which is directly relevant. Ricardo Nunez's LinkedIn isn't available, limiting assessment; his YC bio notes a Sales→Engineering transition. The Mintlify origin story (they built and used this internally) is a strong founding narrative, but thin public data on Ricardo is a gap.
Low Signal
Competition
The sales intelligence and enablement space is extremely crowded: Gong, Chorus, Clari, People.ai, Highspot, Seismic, and newer AI wrappers like Warmly, Amplemarket, and dozens of YC-backed clones all operate in adjacent territory. No competitor data was surfaced in research, but this market is saturated and incumbents have deep CRM integrations and network effects.
Medium Signal
Product
The description references a real internal tool built at Mintlify — a business case generator combining call recordings, news triggers, ROI calculators, and case studies into deal documents. This is more than vaporware; it's a productized version of something they actually used. However, no live demo, pricing page, customer logos, or revenue metrics are visible.
OverallB Tier

The genuine origin story — building and validating this internally at Mintlify to close enterprise deals at higher ACV — is the strongest signal here and meaningfully separates them from pure idea-stage pitches. Ruhan's engineering-plus-sales background at Microsoft/Amazon/Mintlify is directly relevant. The core weakness is the competitive landscape: Gong and its ecosystem dominate, and the 'context layer' framing doesn't yet articulate a defensible moat against incumbents or well-funded AI sales copilots. Ricardo's background is opaque without LinkedIn data, which is a real gap in assessing the team's completeness. Needs sharper differentiation on why this wins vs. bolting a feature onto Gong or Salesforce Einstein.
