Humanoid robots for caregiving.

Spring 2026ActiveIndustrialsManufacturing and RoboticsArtificial IntelligenceRoboticsSan Francisco, CA, USA
Building socially intelligent robots for caregiving. Our semi-humanoids go into nursing homes, senior living communities, and care facilities to support elderly residents, handling everyday tasks like feeding, dressing, medication, and object retrieval, while providing genuine social and emotional companionship. We build the full stack in-house: the robot hardware and all the AI that makes it socially capable, so one caregiver can do more for more residents in a field facing chronic staffing shortages. While the rest of robotics is working on object manipulation like moving boxes and folding laundry, we're focused on what we think is the most meaningful problem: how people and robots can work together.

Note: This is a preliminary assessment based on limited publicly available information. We did not have access to LinkedIn profiles or live product screenshots for this analysis. We will update this entry with a more thorough review soon.

Verdict

High Signal
Market Opportunity
Elder care and senior living is a massive and structurally undersupplied market — 1.5M+ nursing home beds in the US alone, chronic staffing shortages, and demographic tailwinds with aging populations globally. B2B SaaS-style contracts with care facilities creates predictable revenue. Clear ICP (nursing homes, senior living communities) and a real pain point operators will pay to solve.
Medium Signal
Founder Signal
Sardor has 3+ years of combat robotics at Cornell and left Meta Superintelligence Labs to found this — relevant hardware and AI experience, though LinkedIn not available to verify depth or title. Danyal is a former Salesforce MTS (Member of Technical Staff) with an MS in AI from Georgia Tech — solid technical credentials but Salesforce is not a robotics company. Together they cover hardware and AI/ML, which is the right combination, but neither has robotics industry experience at a professional level beyond Cornell clubs and software roles.
Medium Signal
Competition
No competitor data found in search results, but the space is not empty — Figure, Apptronik, Agility Robotics, and 1X Technologies are all building humanoids, though mostly focused on industrial/warehouse use. Caregiving-focused robots like PARO and Stevie exist but are narrower. Twolabs' focus on social intelligence and caregiving is a real differentiation angle, but deep-pocketed humanoid players could pivot into this market.
Low Signal
Product
No press coverage, no named customers, no demo, no pricing, no usage metrics found. The description is aspirational — feeding, dressing, medication handling for elderly — but zero evidence of a working prototype, pilots, or paying customers. Pure concept stage.
OverallC Tier

Strong market thesis and a differentiated positioning — caregiving robotics with social intelligence is genuinely underserved — but there is zero evidence of a working robot, any pilot customers, or even a prototype demo as of now. The founding team has the right background on paper (combat robotics, Meta AI, Georgia Tech MS) but LinkedIn data is unavailable to verify depth, and neither founder appears to have shipped a commercial robot product. This is a deep-tech hardware company at the idea/early-prototype stage, which makes it extraordinarily capital-intensive and risky. Worth watching if they can show a working robot in a real care facility, but right now it's a compelling narrative without proof.
